Help with your next step.

Doevio is operated by New Innovations Enterprise LLC, California, United States. For account help, accessibility, privacy requests, a review appeal or a suspected security problem, email [email protected]. Include the affected page and a brief description; never send passwords, authentication codes, private recordings or provider credentials.

Show your work

  1. Create a candidate account, confirm you are 18+ and review the current rules. Confirm your email, or request manual pilot admission in Account.
  2. Open Show your skills, select a field and role, and choose a task. Download its starter files. The task states the outcome; use your own approach and legitimate tools.
  3. Prepare a task-only window with fictional data. Close unrelated apps and private AI conversations. Complete the recording checklist, select a window and inspect the preview before starting. Your microphone is optional.
  4. Choose Stop & upload when finished. Keep the tab open until upload completes. Processing takes time; your video stays private while you review it.
  5. In My portfolio, review the complete recording, add a summary and submit for publication review. Choose profile visibility separately. Withdraw or delete work whenever you need to.

Do not publish exposed personal or client information. Delete and re-record instead. Browser recovery is best effort; keep original work separately.

Use AI safely while you work

Permitted AI tools can support your approach. Use synthetic data, protect confidential code and credentials, and check generated output. See our guide to approved cloud, private-network and offline AI workflows before recording.

Discover people as a company

  1. Create a company account and complete your company details. Confirm email and request company approval.
  2. After administrator approval, search published employee profiles. When live billing is available, subscribe and use an included unlock to access an authorized portfolio. Shortlist people whose work fits your needs.
  3. Watch the work and use the reviewer evidence to understand its limits. Request an introduction with a recruitment-related message.
  4. The candidate accepts or declines. If accepted, propose meeting times and confirm one together. Contact identity is shared only through a separate candidate choice.

Public demos and candidate participation are free. Company playback requires an active paid subscription and a current portfolio unlock. Access can expire or be withdrawn. A playback notice does not prove that someone watched the full recording.

Agree on a meeting time

Open Introductions after a request is accepted. Propose time options, choose your time zone, duration and preferred provider. The other participant confirms an option or proposes alternatives. Check the confirmed time in Doevio; downloaded calendars are separate copies. Notification emails are optional and reminders can be delayed, so check the schedule directly.

You can paste a Zoom, Meet, Teams or another permitted meeting link without connecting a provider account. Create and manage that room in your own provider account. Cancelling a Doevio schedule clears the shared schedule/link but does not promise cancellation of the external room.

Zoom connection guide

Available now: create a meeting in your own Zoom account and paste its join link into a confirmed Doevio meeting. No Zoom connection to Doevio is required. Automatic room creation remains limited to authorized private test accounts while provider approval is pending.

Add the connection when available

  1. Sign in to your Doevio account and complete the current participation review.
  2. Open Meetings & requests, expand “Optional connected accounts” if it is available to your account, and select Connect Zoom.
  3. Sign in to the Zoom account you intend to host with. Review Zoom’s permission screen before authorizing Doevio Meetings. Your Zoom administrator may need to approve the app.
  4. After returning to Doevio, the account should show “Connected to your platform account.” Reconnect if permissions were revoked or the connection expired.

Create and use a room

  1. Accept an introduction and agree on a time with the other participant. Select Zoom as the meeting provider.
  2. On the confirmed schedule, expand “Use my connected account instead” and choose “Create Zoom room with my connected account.” Your provider may display your name/profile to the other participant.
  3. Open the resulting join link at the agreed time. Doevio does not record the meeting. Your Zoom plan’s meeting limits still apply.

Remove the connection and data

Select Disconnect under Optional connected accounts. Doevio removes its saved credentials and attempts provider revocation. If revocation cannot be confirmed, the interface tells you. Also sign in to Zoom App Marketplace, open your added apps, find Doevio Meetings and use Zoom’s Remove option. Manage or cancel already-created Zoom rooms in Zoom; disconnecting does not cancel them automatically.

For account information and schedules, use Account to export or delete your Doevio data, or contact support for a verified privacy request. The Privacy notice explains retention and backup limits.

Connection troubleshooting

If connection is unavailable, use a manual link. If authorization is denied, check Zoom administrator approval and choose an authorized account; do not bypass warnings. If room creation fails, reconnect and verify the confirmed schedule before retrying. If a request’s outcome is uncertain, inspect your Zoom meetings before creating another room. Send support the time and visible error, without including tokens or private meeting links.

Account recovery, export and deletion

Use Account for recovery, verification, password changes, a password-confirmed JSON export and deletion. Exported recordings are separate downloads. If your browser or organization blocks a download, ask its administrator to review that file or contact support for a verified alternative; do not disable general protection. Existing accounts can still export or delete before agreeing to updated participation rules.

Administrator accounts need another operator to remove admin authority before deletion. A sole company owner may need an ownership handoff. Contact support if a safeguard prevents a valid request.

Administrator: roles, tasks and homepage videos

Authorized administrators open Admin and complete their second-factor check. Use the role/task catalog to add or edit roles, assign tasks to a role, save the draft, preview the candidate brief and publish the catalog. Each active role must have at least seven distinct tasks. Private reviewer instructions stay in the reviewer/admin views.

Use the homepage video editor to replace any of the four sample slots, upload your own permitted recording, and update its title, description and transcript. Review processing and preview the result before publishing. The two featured homepage previews use the first two slots. Real candidate work needs separate permission for promotional use.
